• Who Am I Becoming? - The Reflection Rule (I allow jealousy and insecurity to shape my character, my words, and my relationships.

Kids are a blessing from the Lord, entrusted to us to steward. As parents, it’s our job to grow their faith by both raising them in a Christ-like community and showing them Christ-like behavior in the home. Raising them in a way that, when we release them, we are confident in the direction we guided them, giving them space to become their own person while being available to speak up and speak into their lives when needed.

They have the power to steer the direction of our home, to start fires or put them out, to wound or to heal, to create distance or create connection. And here’s the question we have to ask: What kind of atmosphere are my words creating under my roof? Our homes become healthy when we allow God to change what’s happening in our hearts, so that something different can flow from our mouths! Change the words, shift the atmosphere.

Big Idea: This week, Pray together as a family. Go to the Lord and say, it seems as though there’s a plague in our home. Pray. Even if it’s this simple…. “Lord Jesus, thank You for our family. Help us to love one another better.”

PRESSURE POINTS

Pressure isn’t proof that God has abandoned you – it’s often proof you’re walking where God has called you. The Christian life is not about trying to earn victory over Satan. Jesus has already defeated sin, death, and the powers of darkness through His cross and resurrection. Our calling is to stand confidently in the victory He has secured. Too many believers live as though the outcome is uncertain, fighting every day with fear and discouragement. But Scripture presents us as people who stand on conquered ground. We don’t ignore spiritual warfare; we face it with confidence because our King has already won.
